WC Leadership Alliance to Begin Soon

We are excited to begin our Webster County Leadership Alliance! This alliance has been created to offer our community a comprehensive overview of Webster County Schools. 

There will be four planned meetings, each lasting 2 hours or less, throughout the year that will highlight various school topics, including curriculum and instruction, food service, school finance, school visits, and more.

We are looking for parents, community, or business leaders who are passionate about education and have a desire to learn more about Webster County Schools.

#1WC Employees of the Month

It's time to submit your #1WC Employees of the Month nominations!

We recognize one support staff (e.g., aide, custodian, food service, bus driver, secretary, etc) and one certified employee (e.g., teacher, speech pathologist, counselor, etc) for each month, September through April. When you nominate someone, please tell us all the reasons why your nominee should be selected.

#1WC Criteria:
- Demonstrates a positive attitude in daily job responsibilities
- Goes above and beyond to make a difference
- Models “team player” behaviors of cooperation, collaboration, and work ethic
- Promotes Webster County Trojan Pride

Recipients will be recognized at the regular monthly Board of Education meetings and highlighted on the district's web page and social media pages.

KY Safe Schools Week - September 8th - 12th

Webster County Schools is joining other districts across KY in recognizing Safe Schools Week, with this year's theme: "Focus on School Safety."

This week is designed to raise awareness about various aspects of school safety and empower students, teachers, parents, and the community to take proactive steps in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
