Today’s spotlight for off our School Counseling Week, is Mrs. Austin, our Postsecondary Readiness Counselor. Many still refer to this role as the College & Career Readiness (CCR) Counselor. As mentioned yesterday, our school theme “Focused On Our Future!” is definitely lived out every day in our Counseling office! Mrs. Austin spends her days discussing future plans with individual students, coordinating our Dual Credit, Early College and Industry Tech programs through MCC, planning our Data Day and College & Career Fair events with community volunteers, helping students and parents with KHEAA to complete their FAFSA and apply for colleges, planning college visits, or helping students apply for scholarships while planning our Senior Honors Night, and anything else that pops up related to these things and more. We are thankful that she is a part of our Trojan family! Thank you for all that you do, Mrs. Austin! Go Trojans! #1WC
