Congratulations to Luisa Cunha de Castro, WCHS junior, for winning the National Christmas Card Art Contest!

Luisa, from Brazil, is one of our foreign exchange students through Cultural Homestay International (CHI).

🩺 MNA Students Complete Clinicals

Webster County Area Technology Center MNA students completed their clinicals this week at the Western Kentucky Veterans' Center in Hanson. Clinical hours provide students with hands-on experience in a patient care facility, helping them connect classroom learning to workplace situations. Congratulations on completing your hours! 🎉
 

🐭 Stuart Little Visits Providence Elementary!

Providence Elementary students enjoyed a performance of Stuart Little, by the Lexington Children’s Theater. Owensboro Health sponsored the performance, along with the Owensboro River Park Art Teaches Kids program!

Parents' Night Out Hosted By the WCHS Trojanettes Dance Team Scheduled for December 13th

Attention Parents! 📣

The WCHS Trojanettes Dance Team will be hosting a Parents' Night Out/Dance Camp on Saturday, December 13, from 3 PM to 9 PM.

Activities include a craft, learning a dance routine, dinner, snacks, and a movie. Children need to bring a pillow and a blanket.
  • Grades Pre-K (must be potty-trained) to 6th Grade
  • $30 for first child, $10 for each additional child

WCHS STLP Students to Host a Santa Workshop on December 13th

Next Saturday, December 13th, WCHS STLP students will be hosting the Second Annual Santa’s Webster Workshop in the WC Annex from 10 AM to Noon.

During this event, Webster County Students can visit Santa, receive an early Christmas Gift, enjoy a coloring station, shop for gently used clothing, and receive a free hot meal. This event is entirely student-organized to give back to their community. This is a drop-by event; therefore, families can come and go as they please.

MCC Technology Lunch & Learn Opportunity for WCHS Students

WCHS students are encouraged to sign up for this informational session on December 16th if they are interested in learning about MCC Technical Programs, including lineman, HVAC, electrical, and others. The sign-up form can be found in the grade-level Google Classroom or at the guidance office.

Independence Bank in Providence is offering Pictures with Santa on Thursday, December 11th, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Independence Bank is located at 211 U.S. Hwy 41-A South in Providence.
