STLP State Championships

WCHS STLP students competed at the State Championship at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY today. A total of 25 students competed in various categories that spanned robotics, drones, digital arts, knowledge of technology, and community leadership, just to name a few.
Alex Floyd and Laila Vincent placed 3rd in the RCX Robotics Competition.
Adalee Tapp finished 2nd in AI On Demand.
Shlok Patel finished 2nd in Tech Bowl.
Braghen Sloat, Alyssa Cartwright, and Kamryn Edens served as 3 of the 12 STLP Student Engineer Ambassadors. This was Braghen’s 3rd year to serve in this role.
Webster County also had the honor of presenting 4 showcases on leadership projects they had completed as an STLP organization. These students included: Braghen Sloat, Caila Clary, Raynei Roy, Brylee Whitledge, Sophie Deibler, Addy Hammack, Ella Alfred, Paityn Melton, Mylee McDowell, Kamryn Edens, and Alyssa Cartwright.
